Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, market trends, and societal paradigms relevant to 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic recommendations
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports and executive briefings on future innovation pathways
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate future-facing insights into product roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for tracking strategic initiatives and measure their long-term organizational impact
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and maintain external thought leadership networks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, neurotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Strong track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Fluency in futures research methodologies and emerging technology ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (required)
