Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology integration
- Present trend analyses to executive leadership and board of directors quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Author annual 'Future State' industry forecast reports
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing methodologies
- Oversee $5M annual innovation budget allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of predicting tech adoption curves (provide case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in industry journals (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
