Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026 market positioning and competitive advantage
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and disruptive innovation
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content
- Partner with product teams to integrate future trends into R&D pipelines
- Build and lead a global network of futurist researchers and industry experts
- Advise board on long-term strategic risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into business strategy
- Deep expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and public speaking
- Portfolio of published futurist research or thought leadership
- Experience with AI-driven forecasting tools and data visualization
- Global network of futurists and industry influencers
