Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product innovation and market positioning
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions using emerging technologies
- Deliver executive-level foresight reports translating complex data into actionable insights
- Design ethical impact assessments for long-term technological deployments
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD) strongly preferred
