Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for clients across fintech, healthcare, and climate sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive megatrends
- Author annual FutureState Index reports forecasting market shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions (e.g., neural interfaces, carbon-negative materials)
- Advocate ethical frameworks for AI deployment and biotech innovation
- Represent FutureWorks at Davos, Web Summit, and global policy forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futures research, or emerging technology
- Deep expertise in 2+ domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership in MIT Technology Review, Wired, or equivalent
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Analysis)
- Experience advising boards on exponential tech disruption
- PhD or Master’s in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant field
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish preferred
