Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish quantitative forecasting models for market evolution and technology adoption
- Present strategic insights at industry conferences and publish thought leadership
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability framework
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate future insights into product development pipelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Experience advising C-suite executives in Fortune 500 or tech scale-ups
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
