Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype next-gen solutions in AI, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Quantify ROI for exponential technologies using predictive modeling frameworks
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or carbon capture
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or MIT Technology Review
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Innovation Management
- Portfolio of implemented exponential technology initiatives
