Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology foresight framework, mapping emerging trends to market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and policy teams
- Produce strategic whitepapers on future-facing technologies (AI ethics, climate tech, space exploration)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design and prototype human-centered solutions for 2026 societal challenges
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Mentor junior futurists in our emerging talent incubator program
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, climate, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial or social impact initiatives
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-facing projects
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Experience working with government innovation ecosystems (highly desirable)
