Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year innovation roadmap aligning with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.) for commercial viability
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present findings to C-suite executives and investors to secure funding and buy-in
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of radical experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven track record of launching breakthrough products
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) and their market implications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Portfolio of past innovations or patents demonstrating thought leadership
