Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough concepts
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present innovation strategies to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive the creation of patent portfolios and intellectual property assets
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of experimentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services
- Expertise in future trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Strong proficiency in data analytics and market research tools
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
