Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends, market gaps, and competitive landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future-proof solutions in quantum computing and biotech
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite executives
- Manage innovation pipeline from ideation to prototype validation using agile methodologies
- Represent company at global tech forums to shape industry standards for 2026 technologies
- Partner with R&D teams to align commercial applications with breakthrough scientific research
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy/innovation roles with proven impact on 3+ emerging technologies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with PhD preferred
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and climate tech ecosystems
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ technology implications (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience scaling innovations from concept to market in regulated industries
- Certification in Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston) or equivalent
