Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive innovations and patent opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting 2026+ tech landscapes
- Author thought leadership on industry transformation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Proven track record scaling disruptive technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Executive-level stakeholder management experience
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
