Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 Innovation Roadmap, identifying emerging technologies and market disruptions with 3-5 year foresight
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify paradigm shifts and competitive threats in emerging markets
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven impact narratives
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs to access cutting-edge research
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio, allocating resources to high-potential future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps that generated $100M+ revenue
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced materials science
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic frameworks
- Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones and cultural contexts
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Business Innovation, or related field required
