Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems targeting 2026 commercial deployment milestones
- Design error-correction protocols and quantum control systems for 100+ qubit processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum software-hardware co-design initiatives
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Partner with industry leaders to define quantum computing use cases
- Drive R&D roadmap alignment with quantum maturity timelines
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing publications
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware design and control systems
- Track record of leading quantum algorithm development
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion quantum platforms
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
