Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
- Drive development of fault-tolerant quantum processors at scale
- Secure $10M+ in government and private research grants
- Publish 5+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Establish industry partnerships with Fortune 500 companies
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary research teams
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
