Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks with 99.999% fault tolerance
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor a cross-disciplinary team of quantum physicists, engineers, and mathematicians
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Develop patent-pending quantum hardware interfaces
- Collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and CERN on quantum supremacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm implementation
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Experience securing $1M+ in research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement at scale
- Track record of translating theory to commercial prototypes
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain)
