Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with IBM, Rigetti, and D-Wave systems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to create quantum-enhanced machine learning frameworks
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and drive open-source quantum tool development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compilation techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and parallel programming
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence models and mitigation strategies
