Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) with 3-5 year market potential
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts in prototype development
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for collaborative R&D
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and investors
- Drive patent development and intellectual property protection for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior talent in future-focused methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum, biotech, AI ethics)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in agile/scrum environments
