Responsibilities
- Design quantum-classical hybrid architectures leveraging Qiskit, Cirq, and D-Wave systems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum communication protocols for secure data transmission
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in machine learning and materials science
- Implement quantum-resistant cryptographic frameworks against future cyber threats
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Architect scalable quantum cloud infrastructure on AWS Braket and Azure Quantum
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives and publish research findings
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum computing solutions on hardware platforms
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit manipulation
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) and distributed systems
- Strong background in cryptography and post-quantum security standards
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum hardware design
