Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop quantitative scenario models and strategic roadmaps for 3-5 year futures
- Champion innovation workshops with C-suite and board stakeholders
- Produce executive-grade trend reports and strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into product development pipelines
- Represent company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-oriented thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of emerging tech (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
- Experience with Delphi method, causal layered analysis, or other foresight methodologies
