Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to identify opportunities and threats through 2030
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks using AI-driven analytics, scenario modeling, and expert networks
- Produce strategic foresight reports and roadmaps for executive decision-making and investor relations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and service models
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and government agencies for trend intelligence
- Present compelling future scenarios to stakeholders through executive briefings and board presentations
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience translating complex futures into executive narratives
- Portfolio of published foresight work or thought leadership in top-tier publications
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Global perspective with experience analyzing geopolitical and macroeconomic trends
