- Develop and maintain a 2026 strategic foresight framework with quarterly scenario planning updates
- Lead stakeholder workshops to translate foresight findings into actionable R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers positioning Horizon as a future-focused industry leader
- Establish global partnerships with academic institutions and future-focused think tanks
- Integrate foresight principles into product development lifecycle and corporate strategy
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and emerging technology assessment
- Published author in futures research or peer-reviewed foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, technological, and socio-economic megatrends
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis, horizon scanning platforms)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major foresight projects with measurable business impact
