Responsibilities
- Forecast technological, economic, and societal trends through 2026 using data-driven scenario modeling
- Design strategic frameworks for organizations to navigate disruption and capitalize on emerging opportunities
- Develop 'future-proof' innovation roadmaps aligning R&D with market evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Author white papers and thought leadership on paradigm-shifting technologies
- Advocate ethical AI adoption and responsible innovation practices
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government futurist initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (quantifiable case studies required)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Mastery of horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Published thought leader with 50+ articles/lectures on future trends
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent experience
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on transformation strategy
