Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026-2030 global innovation strategy across 12 industry verticals
- Lead cross-functional task forces of 30+ specialists in AI ethics, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Present strategic foresight frameworks to C-suite boards and government innovation councils
- Establish Horizon as the thought leader through whitepapers, TED Talks, and Davos panels
- Manage $15M annual R&D budget with 30% allocation to speculative research
- Mentor next-gen futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (e.g., Harvard Business Review, MIT Technology Review)
- Proven track record of implementing 10-year+ strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Executive-level experience scaling innovation in Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Fluency in scenario planning tools and predictive analytics platforms
