Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive models for technology adoption and market disruption through 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams to align product roadmaps with future industry shifts
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build next-generation strategic capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Technology Foresight, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of technology disruption prediction (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex scenarios
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
