Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ tech trends including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology
- Develop predictive models for technological adoption curves and market disruption
- Architect strategic roadmaps for 3-5 year innovation pipelines
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and executive teams
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and industry trend reports
- Establish partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Advise on ethical frameworks for next-generation AI deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Published thought leadership in emerging tech (IEEE, Nature, TechCrunch)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., AC/FS)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight frameworks
