Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI/ML, Web3, and quantum computing applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions with 3+ year implementation horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic visions to executive stakeholders and investor communities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Measure and report on innovation KPIs and ROI for futuristic initiatives
- Mentor R&D teams in ethical tech development and sustainable innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with 5+ year timelines
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in Futures Studies, Technology Foresight, or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience securing $5M+ in funding for long-term R&D initiatives
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futuristic concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented future-tech projects
