As a key member of our Innovation Directorate, you'll work directly with C-suite executives to develop 5-year tech roadmaps, ensuring our solutions anticipate market shifts before they occur. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing ecosystems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping next-gen systems with 10+ year scalability
- Analyze global tech patents and academic research to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Present strategic briefings to executive board on emerging technology risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into commercial roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and government innovation labs
- Author annual 'State of 2026 Technology' industry reports
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on emerging technology paradigms
- Proven track record leading projects with 7+ year development horizons
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D grants from NSF or DARPA
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/Java preferred)
