Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology landscapes (AI, quantum, neuromorphic computing) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market entry
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype futuristic solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups to accelerate R&D cycles
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board of directors and investors
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal culture of continuous technological foresight
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption in 2026+ horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in technology forecasting or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining tech products/services
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning skills with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, R) for trend analysis
