Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for next-generation product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning across AI, quantum, biotech, and space tech domains
- Present futuristic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Author thought leadership on technology evolution trajectories
- Partner with R&D to validate feasibility of 2026-era concepts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (2020-2025 validation)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills
- Published work on future technology trends (patents/articles)
- Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business strategies
