Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmap development for 2026 technology adoption across verticals
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis in emerging tech domains
- Design and prototype next-gen solutions in quantum/AI/sustainable tech
- Present findings to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Manage cross-functional R&D teams of 8-12 specialists
- Secure $10M+ in annual research funding through grant proposals
- Publish thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or green tech
- Published author in IEEE/Nature/Science journals
- Experience securing federal/private research grants ($5M+)
- Strong network with global tech innovation ecosystems
