Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead research on disruptive technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech innovations into development pipelines
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on technological disruption risks/opportunities
- Establish global innovation partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption timelines
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging technology implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial applications
- Experience publishing in technology foresight journals or industry white papers
- Exceptional analytical skills with scenario planning methodologies
- Strong network with technology thought leaders and research institutions
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
