Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026-relevant technologies across quantum, AR/VR, and synthetic biology domains
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs and ESG frameworks
- Drive patent strategy for next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Partner with venture capital to identify disruptive startups for acquisition
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and government technology councils
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ in future-tech forecasting
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging tech applications
- Expertise in technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Portfolio of implemented innovations with >$50M impact
- Security clearance preferred (DOD/DoE projects)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
