Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics frameworks and governance policies for autonomous systems
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and risk assessments for AI deployment models
- Lead stakeholder engagement with regulators, policymakers, and community groups
- Design transparent AI explainability protocols for high-stakes decision systems
- Create ethical AI training programs for engineering and product teams
- Monitor emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights) and adapt compliance strategies
- Author annual AI ethics impact reports and public transparency documents
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, compliance, or ethical technology roles
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics for ML models
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (GDPR, EU AI Act, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics or responsible AI
- Experience with AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
