Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional task forces to audit AI models for bias, fairness, and transparency
- Develop compliance protocols aligning with emerging US and international AI regulations
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations into AI development lifecycles
- Conduct risk assessments for high-stakes AI applications in healthcare, finance, and transportation
- Create public-facing transparency reports on AI system decision-making processes
- Mentor junior data scientists on responsible AI practices and ethical data usage
Qualifications
- Master's degree in AI Ethics, Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years developing AI governance frameworks in regulated industries
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and emerging US legislation
- Proven experience auditing machine learning models for fairness and transparency
- Strong background in privacy-preserving techniques (differential privacy, federated learning)
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE, ACM) or equivalent professional credential
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or explainable AI techniques
- Experience collaborating with policymakers and standards organizations
