Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for 2026 technology stack
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments on machine learning models
- Advise product teams on ethical design principles for generative AI systems
- Establish compliance protocols for emerging regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Lead cross-functional ethics task forces with engineers and policymakers
- Publicly represent company stance on AI ethics at industry conferences
- Monitor global AI ethics landscape and recommend strategic adaptations
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech leadership
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for large language models
- Published work on algorithmic fairness or explainable AI
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory frameworks
- Experience testifying before legislative bodies on tech ethics
- Proficiency in Python for ethical AI tool development
- History of scaling ethical programs in hypergrowth tech environments
