Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-enhanced AI models
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, NeurIPS)
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize AI-quantum computing interfaces
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-generation AI decision-making systems
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Quantum Physics with 5+ years industry experience
- Published record in top AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of scaling ML models to 10M+ parameter systems
- Strong background in reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems
- Experience securing government research grants
- Patents or open-source contributions to major ML libraries
- Deep understanding of AI ethics and responsible innovation principles
