Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring and medication assistance
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility support
- Document patient observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Support patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Current California CNA or HHA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Clear TB test and health screening within 6 months
- Proficiency with mobile health apps (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Fluency in English and Spanish highly preferred
