Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products from shipping docks to storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and organize incoming and outgoing inventory using warehouse management software.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a secure workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and colleagues to ensure workflow efficiency and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with reading labels, calculating weights, and using handheld scanners.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business needs arise.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
