Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging tech trends (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) and publish annual impact reports
- Design and pilot proof-of-concept projects for next-gen technologies with cross-functional teams
- Advocate for ethical frameworks in AI/ML deployment and responsible innovation practices
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich)
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and investor stakeholders
- Mentor a team of 5 innovation specialists and lead hackathons
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in emerging technologies or futurism
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar journals on exponential technologies
- Expertise in quantum computing algorithms or synthetic biology workflows
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to market
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming (Q#)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for autonomous systems
- Keynote speaker at Web Summit, CES, or similar events
