Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal employees and external clients via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including printers, laptops, operating systems, and network connectivity.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security access within Active Directory.
- Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, and security patches.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and technical processes in the Help Desk ticketing system.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and peripherals.
- Collaborate with the network engineering team to identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, Storage) and peripherals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems (10/11) and Office 365 suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) within the first year.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs when necessary.
