Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to internal employees and clients via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues, including printer setup and troubleshooting.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base for future reference.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly labeled.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to escalate complex issues and learn advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed to support business-critical operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- No prior professional experience required, but a strong interest in IT is a must.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is highly desired.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for equipment setup.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office space for remote support (if applicable).
