Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials and products within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and ensure accurate inventory counts during the receiving process.
- Package and label products securely for shipping to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and update inventory records accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Assist in general warehouse maintenance and perform routine equipment checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid driver's license (not always required, but beneficial for logistics roles).
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
