Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 market disruption
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' integrating quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, and decentralized systems
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment and human-machine symbiosis
- Partner with White House Office of Science & Technology Policy on national innovation initiatives
- Drive commercialization of breakthrough technologies through agile MVP validation cycles
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board members securing $50M+ annual funding
- Mentor next-gen futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders incubator program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Systems Engineering, or Futuristics (Stanford/MIT/Caltech preferred)
- 10+ years in corporate strategy at FAANG or quantum research institutions
- Published author in Nature/Science on emerging tech implications
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (Singularity University certified)
- Track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations (minimum 3 $100M+ products)
- Security clearance eligibility for federal innovation partnerships
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon scanning, Delphi, scenario planning)
