Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Define and execute the technical roadmap for 2026, identifying emerging technologies and integrating them into our core architecture.
- System Design: Design scalable, high-performance systems that can adapt to future market demands and technological shifts.
- R&D Leadership: Lead research initiatives into cutting-edge fields such as AI, Quantum Readiness, and Edge Computing.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor engineering teams and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership to drive buy-in.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all future-facing architectures adhere to current and upcoming industry security standards and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in systems architecture, software engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or strategic role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of identifying trends and translating them into actionable technical strategies.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex technical challenges and foresee potential roadblocks in long-term projects.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
