Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) to business opportunities
- Produce quarterly horizon scanning reports with actionable recommendations for R&D investment
- Design and execute stakeholder engagement strategies with government bodies, academic institutions, and industry consortia
- Establish KPIs to measure strategic initiatives' impact on market position and innovation velocity
- Present findings to executive boards and investor committees using compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or sustainable development
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Polymath) and data visualization platforms
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term tech strategy and risk mitigation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
