- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor competitor tech strategies and regulatory changes affecting future tech landscapes
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year horizons
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or consulting at Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching successful tech initiatives with measurable ROI
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with scenario planning and long-term strategic forecasting
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Portfolio demonstrating past tech strategy implementations
