- Lead research initiatives in generative AI ethics, quantum-resistant cryptography, and bio-hybrid systems
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board committees
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into commercial offerings
- Publish thought leadership in IEEE and MIT Technology Review
- Coordinate with policy teams on regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech leadership roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record in scaling AI/ML systems at enterprise level
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published research in Nature Technology or equivalent tier-1 journal
- Experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti) or neuromorphic chips (Loihi, TrueNorth)
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) and quantum simulation frameworks
