Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech)
- Partner with product teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Build and mentor an innovation lab focused on 2026+ technology horizons
- Analyze global tech trends to inform competitive positioning
- Drive adoption of sustainable and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record leading disruptive initiatives from concept to market
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting ROI analysis for long-term projects
- Excellent communication skills for executive presentations and thought leadership
- MSc/PhD in relevant field or equivalent demonstrable expertise
