- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Translate tech innovations into revenue-generating business models and product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Drive scenario planning for technological black swan events
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with demonstrated impact on future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, or IoT)
- Proven track record of translating tech trends into commercial success
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
